There are so many things that make me incredibly proud. I’m proud to be an Australian, I love where we live, I love the freedom we have as Australians.  I love the generosity that Australians ooze and the beautiful nature people have to rally around someone when the going gets tough and help where they can.  I’m proud of and love the wonderful people in our lives I feel lucky enough to call our friends and family.  I love the industry we work in and are very proud about what we have achieved in such a short period of time.  I’m most proud (and in love) with my 3 boys.  My husband is my soul mate, he completes me and together we just work. Today, I’m feeling a touch purple and thought I would put together a Purple Themed Wedding Inspiration Board. I’m still undecided as to whether or not purple by itself is too much (is there such a thing…) or if I prefer it as an accent colour? What do you think? Nostalgia washes over me as I remember fondly as a girl, sitting down with my dearest friends (including teddies) and playing tea parties.  I remember my mother having a tall ceramic tea pot, white with dainty little pink flowers, matching cups and saucers sitting in the “Good Crockery” buffet and wanting to play with it so badly.  Now, as an adult, I have a collection of my own tea pots which I adore (much to the bemusement of my DH). There just seems to be something so lady-like and soothing about sitting down to relax and enjoying a pot of tea! I absolutely adore High Tea Parties, I seriously think I should have been around in the 1800′s to entertain and fuss about with trays of petit fours, eclairs, cupcakes, tarts and biscuits. Obviously I love weddings, and could spend (and do) a large amount of time pouring over delicious details, personal touches and romantic stories of how a couple met and their journey towards their wedding. Congratulations to Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom who were married last night in an intimate ceremony believed to be held in LA. The couple who met on set in 2007, were engaged on 21st June, just over one month ago.  It is believed the couple have been planning their wedding for quite some time.
